Candice Arnold (nee Jones) is a local mum of two who is fairly well known within the community having grown up, and still residing, in the area. Candice has ongoing involvement with local Community Theatre Companies and is the co-ordinator of the Extra Curricular Dance Programs in many local schools on the North Shore.

As a Dancer from age 3, Candice commenced her Teaching Career at age 15. After graduating from ED5 International in 2009 with a Certificate IV in Performing Arts, Candice performed overseas briefly but soon found that Teaching dance was her true passion and is what motivates her to share her love and enthusiasm for the Performing Arts with not just our Students, but the whole Footloose Performance Studios Family. With an extensive background in both Dance and the Performing Arts, Candice’s mission is to provide her students with excellent dance training while giving them a memorable and positive dance experience they can’t find anywhere else.

Taylor Chillingworth

Tap, Jazz, Acro, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pre-school

Taylor started dancing at the age of 5 and has always had a strong passion for dance. She is trained in Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap and Acro. She has studied Glen Wood Tap and completed grade 10.

Taylor attended Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School followed by a 2 years full time at ED5 International graduating in 2016 with a Diploma in Performing Arts. Whilst at ED5 she performed at Carols in the domain, the Netball World Cup, Arnott’s Charity Gala Ball, Cara House Gala Ball and the Premiers Concert ‘Puttin on the Ritz’.

Taylor has also worked extensively in public schools across Sydney teaching the Dance2B Fit programs.

Taylor loves teaching and helping students learn and grow in both knowledge and technique and will continue to inspire them to follow their dreams in dance.

Paige Massey

Acro, Jazz, Lyrical

Originally from New Zealand, Paige started dancing at the age of 3 at Northland School of Ballet under the direction of the Honourable Tess Graham. Paige studied RAD Ballet from Primary to Advanced 1 gaining high marks in all examinations. At the age of 9 she commenced training at WADPA studios in all genres undertaking examinations in British Theatre Dance Association (BTDA) syllabus receiving a platinum level achievement for her Diploma in Jazz and also her Advanced 2 Ballet.

Four years ago Paige decided to follow her dreams and move to Australia to pursue dance as a career and was accepted into one of the most prestigious school in Australia ‘Lee Academy’. Since then she has obtained her Cert IV in Dance, Diploma in Dance and last year completed her Advanced Diploma in Elite Performance.

Paige has always loved teaching and has a real passion for choreography. I have had success with my choreography at various national and international competitions including 2018 and 2019 New Zealand National Young Performer awards and also many solos and a troupe routine for Showcase nationals.

As an artist, Paige has had the opportunity to be part of many events such as performing with Vanessa Amorosi, Prudential Singapore awards evening entertainment, Usain Bolt Mariners entertainment but the highlight was being on TV in 2019 with aKrobatika as finalists for Australia’s Got Talent.

Paige is super excited to become a part of the Footloose Performance Studios  faculty and share with the students her passion and creativity.

Klarissa Gennusa


Klarissa trained at The Conlan College of Classical Ballet for her foundation followed by full time training from 2010 until graduating in 2015. Klarissa has completed all of her RAD Examinations receiving high distinction in all major examinations with 100% in her Advanced 2. She recently featured in the movie “Dance Academy the Comeback” released in cinemas 2018 as well as starring in a store film “Reverie” played at Sydney Film Festival.
Following graduation, Klarissa received many offers to travel overseas with companies such as Ajkun Ballet Theatre and Stara Zagora State Opera Ballet and in 2018 Klarissa joined Melbourne City Ballet. Her performance credits include “Crystal Fountain fairy solo”, ” Silver Jewel solo”, “White cat pas de duex”, nymphs, attendant in Sleeping Beauty, “Mercedes” Carmen’s best friend in Carmen, “Kate American Pas de deux” in Madame Butterfly, “Spanish pas de duex”, snowflakes, party guest in Nutcracker.
Klarissa has been teaching all over Sydney, Melbourne and Tamworth for many years. She has a passion for inspiring young dancers and spreading her love and knowledge for dance to each student to watch them grow individually as a dancer.

Olivia Bowers

* Cert IV in Performing Arts
* Professional International Program – Majoring in Contemporary & Commercial

Olivia is a Sydney based dancer and choreographer. From a young age Olivia has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip hop, Musical Theatre, Tap, Acrobatics, Drama and Singing competing and performing with her dance schools competition teams. Olivia attended Pymble Ladies’ College where she continued her studies in dance completing her HSC dance and receiving multiple callback nominations, as well as being a member of their competition teams and performing in many of their musical theatre productions.

Following High School Olivia completed Full Time training at Urban Dance Centre where she received her Certificate IV in Performing Arts before moving to New York to complete a Professional International Training Program at Broadway Dance Center. Her triple threat education extends over 20 years in schools and programs within Sydney, LA and New York.

Olivia has worked as a performer in shows throughout Australia and the United States alongside the likes of Justice Crew and Redfoo, with the choreographers of Beyonce, Missy Elliot, Rihanna and Lady Gaga and for shows, events and companies such as The Morning Show, Channel V, Mardi Gras, The X-factor, Optus and The Starlight Foundation. 

In addition to performing, Olivia has been teaching for over 10 years in a variety of styles with her favourite styles to teach being Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop. She has choreographed for performances and competitions in studios throughout Sydney and New York and is excited to work with the Footloose Performance Studio dancers. 

As a Teacher, Olivia’s main aim in the studio is to push students to test their limits and surpass their comfort zones in a safe, comfortable and fun environment; and to nurture a passion and encourage pride in their achievements.

Hayley Doran

* Cert III & IV in Fitness

Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, SST, Performance Troupe

Hayley began her dance training at age of 11 & furthered her studies at IKIN Dance’s full-time program, which also incorporated Cert 3 and 4 in Fitness.

Hayley has performed in the Youth Olympic Opening Ceremony, the NSW School Spectacular, the Katherine (NT) Family Awareness Day and Sunshine Coast’s Father’s Day Festival. She has performed at Australia Zoo, Sea World, Movie World, on ABC’s ‘The Giggle and Hoot TV Show’ and more recently travelled to Fiji as a dancer to film a Bollywood movie. Hayley has toured around NSW, NT, QLD and SA in the children’s Smurf Show starring as Smurfette and with McDonalds starring as Hamburglar. Hayley was a cheerleader for the NRL’s Sydney Roosters for the past 9 years, where she was also Cheer Captain. Hayley’s television credits include performances in Marvin Priest’s ‘Own This Club’ video clip, Kindred’s debut film clip and a variety of TVC’s.

Along with Teaching Dance for the past 10 years, Hayley is completing a Bachelor of Education in Primary Teaching.

Hayley is extremely excited to be working at Footloose, inspiring others and encouraging her students to believe in their dreams, have fun and work towards their goals.

Monique Harris

* Acrobatic Arts Teacher Accreditation

Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acro, Pre-school

As a dancer for over 15 years, Monique has had a vast amount of experience with many teachers and dancers. She has studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet & Contemporary from the age of 4 and loved her dance journey at Capital Performance Studios. 

Monique has performed countless times at the Opera House, and was also a member of a troupe named the Best Tappers in Australia. Monique has worked professionally as a tap dancer, in the Chinese New Year Parade in Sydney and has appeared on Channel 10 several times performing with an elite tap group.

In 2018, Monique choreographed the musical “Grease” for Berowra Musical Society and also taught local public school dance groups choreographing routines for the Sydney North Dance Festival.

Monique started teaching as an assistant 6yrs ago and has been teaching for both Capital and Footloose Performance Studios since 2017. Monique is super excited to be teaching with the amazing Footloose team in the same venue she completed her dance training and can’t wait for the year to get started!

Jamila Grace

* Cert IV in Dance

Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Pre-School

Jamila has been trained in all styles from the age of 5, beginning under the guidance of teachers at Woolgoolga Performing Arts Studio as well as undertaking vocal training for the last three years.

In 2019, Jamila furthered her training at Ettingshausens obtaining her Certificate IV in Dance and training with many industry professionals. Ettingshausens opened a lot of opportunities for Jamila as she performed on both The Voice & Dancing with the Stars as well as choreographing the opening number for her graduation showcase alongside Natasha Crane and this year Jamila will be performing in the 2020 ICC World Cup Opening performance.

Jamila has been teaching across all styles of dance at both Carnivale Dance Co and Ettingshausens and is very excited to share her love and knowledge of dance at Footloose.

Rosalina Leonardo

Hip Hop, Jazz

Rosalina (or Coach Naine) is a teacher by heart and by profession. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, majoring in Education and Theatre Arts, in the Philippines where she also taught in the primary school for 6 years collectively. Simultaneously, she coached and mentored dance clubs and varsities in the schools she taught in.
During a three year hiatus from the academe, she indulged herself in her passion for dance and performing by joining a dance crew under contract with GMA 7, one of the biggest TV networks in the Philippines.
She currently teaches hip hop dance in different primary schools all over Sydney.

Michael Llanita

Hip Hop

Michael (or Coach Mike) started dancing at the age of 9. At 10, he co-founded an all male hiphop dance crew that still exists today, after 19 years, called Pinoy Hiphop. The crew used to regularly appear in Philippine television and local competition arenas. In recent years, they have competed and placed in many international stages like Dance Delight Hiphop Battle in Singapore, World Supremacy Battlegrounds International Hiphop Competition, Revolution Hiphop International, and House of Champions, all of which were held here in Australia.
Mike is an amazing teacher, choreographer and performer who is eager to share his knowledge and skills with the next generations of hiphop dancers.

Taine Wynyard

* Diploma in Performing Arts

Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop

Taine has been passionate about the performing arts industry from a young age, starting dance lessons at the age of 4. By the age of 8 he was a part of the tap pups, being trained under Dein Perry’s Tap dogs and instantly fell in love with tap dancing. Through being a tap pup Taine has had many amazing performance opportunities such as; Carols in the Domain, Sydney Tap Festival, v8 Supercars, New Year’s Eve, So You Think You Can Dance and Dance Academy. Recently he has also had opportunities to perform professionally along some of the Tap Dogs, with a highlight being performing on a submarine in Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

Taine studied full time for 2 years at ED5 International where he received an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts. Throughout the course he had the opportunity to perform alongside industry professionals at some amazing events including; Arnott’s Gala Ball, a wedding event alongside Marcia Hines, Nicole Fitzsimmons Foundation Ball, Save our Sons and the Ocean 8 Premiere.

Taine loves being a dance teacher as it allows him to share his knowledge and passion for the arts with the younger generation. Taine is extremely excited to teach the students at Footloose, and can’t wait to see what the year ahead holds for both himself and the kids.

Louisa Burns

* Diploma in Performing Arts

Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pre-school

Louisa began dancing at the age of three at Danielle’s Studio of Dance on the Gold Coast where she studied RAD Classical Ballet, Jazz and Tap. Upon moving to Sydney Louisa continued her passion for dance at North Shore Dance Academy, The Conlan College and Capital Performance Studios where she also studied Contemporary and Lyrical dance.

A student at Brigidine College, Louisa also studied Musical Theatre and was selected to compete in eisteddfods for her dance schools as well as Brigidine. Louisa studied Dance as a HSC subject and was highly successful in getting two Call Back nominations for her Choreography and Performance pieces. Following Year 12, Louisa was a full time student at Brent Street, where she received a Diploma of Performing Arts. Whilst at Brent Street she was selected to dance in a Samantha Jade video and at the Diamond Jubilee Event at the ICC and also for the Starlight Foundation Event.

After completing her training at Brent Street, Louisa was offered teaching roles in the disciplines of Jazz, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre which has given her further scope to build on her love of choreography and creativity. Having been fortunate to learn from some of the world’s leading choreographers, Louisa loves passing on her love of the art of dance to her students and continues to build on her training by regularly attending Open Classes.

Louisa is excited to be working with Footloose Performance Studios to inspire more young dancers with her creative style of dance.

Lorraine Wyatt

* Acrobatic Arts Teacher Accreditation

Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acro, Pre-school

Lorraine is a proud wife and mother of two small children and has been teaching dance for as long as she can remember.

Growing up, Lorraine was always involved in every performance related activity she could sink her teeth into. She has always had a strong passion for dance and started at the age of 5 with the Jeanne Campbell Dancers. Completing her exams and competing at various tap championships throughout her childhood, Lorraine worked her way up to being a Junior Teacher. 

Since then Lorraine has choreographed many Eisteddfod and concert routines and previously worked for Footloose Performance Studios before having her first child in 2016. Lorraine re-joined the Team in 2019 and is happy to be part of the Footloose Family once again. There are no words for how much she enjoys teaching and inspiring her students.

Samantha Lee

* Acrobatic Arts Teachers Accreditation

Jazz, Lyrical, Acro

Sammy started dance at a very young age, following her mum’s footsteps in American Latin and ballroom dancing. After 2 years she changed her dance path and pursued rhythmic gymnastics where she competed for 10 years reaching the state and national levels.

At school she participated in the school dance groups performing at several venues including the Opera House and was part of the Schools Spectacular two years in a row.

Sammy has been part of the Footloose Family since 2013 first as a student and now as a Junior Teacher.

Rebecca Stock

Jazz, Ballet, Acro, Pre-school

Dance has been a major part of Bec’s life since the age of 4. She began with a strong foundation in the Cecchetti ballet method and by the age of 8 she was dancing 5 days a week and competing in numerous eisteddfods including a performance at the opera house in the under 12 division.

During high school, Bec represented her school in dance festivals and competitions as well as gaining some experience in aerobic gymnastics, reaching both state and national levels. She soon discovered other genres of dance including contemporary, jazz and more recently acrobatics which she has continued to study and teach as an assistant for several years.

Bec is looking forward to continuing her training with the Footloose Family as both a dancer and junior teacher this year.
